The Best Reposado Tequilas

Reposados (which means "rested") are younger, spending under 1 year in the barrel. This gives them less time to pick up color and taste from the wood of the barrel so they tend to be lighter in color and retain more natural tequila taste but they do still pick up great notes from the wood. Anejos generally cost more than reposados because they're aged longer, but that doesn't mean either is necessarily "better", same way a Chard isn't better than a Cab
