NOT on the best list
Casa Dragones
From TequilaGringo: We just had a tasting of this very expensive, ultra high-end tequila, and we liked it! The nose has some vegetal hints, and very little burn. Initial taste was vegetal, with prominent sweet agave. As the taste progressed, it became a sweet pear and it kept getting sweeter, until the finish which was almost sugary. It has a silky, velvety mouthfeel that makes it highly drinkable - you roll this bottle out with the ladies and you're all gonna be in the tank in no time. It's incredibly easy-drinking, super low heat, very very smooth. Read more »

4 Copas Anejo
From Tequila Gringo:
Picked up agave on the nose. The first taste brought smoke, and then a surprising after taste of citrus. We felt it didn't have much random barrel flavor (like vanilla or caramel) for an anejo (depending on your preferences, that can be a good or a bad thing), but if you read their write up - perhaps the flavors you pick up on other tequila's aren't the barrel either! We did taste a nice wood flavor though. We liked this tequila, and think it's one to try as you look to figure out which types of tequlias you enjoy most.

Los Arango Anejo
From Tequila Gringo:
Light Spice and agave flavors with a medium-high heat are what you get on the taste. The finish has a heavy alchohol to it, which means a lot of heat. All in all, not bad, but not on the best list either.
Espolon Reposado
From Tequila Gringo:
This one didn't impress us as much. We had it in a flight with Corazon's blanco and Anejo, and this one failed to stand out. It has a typical tequila taste, was smooth with a medium heat. We thought it was just all too typical to make our best list - but a solid choice if you're faced with a Patron/Cuervo looking bar.
Corralejo
From Tequila Gringo This one was a surprise. Smooth, nay, mild, and with very little heat. If you've got a newbie who's scared of that first sip, we recommend you give them this one. It tastes like tequila, but goes down remarkably easy. While it's not what we like, if you have to get someone started this is the best way to do it we've tasted. And when you consider the price, this thing's a winner. From BevMo Pale straw color with delicate fragrances of pine needle and green olive. These lead to more aromas of peppercorn, brine, and honey with a soft finish.
Aha Toro Anejo
Tequila Gringo Review
Meh. The bottle design gave us high expectations, but alas they were not met. We tried this in a flight with 1921 Reserva Especial, Don Julio 1942 and Casa Noble Anejo - and it was very distant last. Tough compeition to be sure, and to be fair 2 of those other bottles do cost a lot more, but the drop off from those to Cazadores Repo is no where near as drastic by comparison.

Partida Anejo
Tequila Gringo Review
Partida is one of the old names in premium tequila in the US so we were excited to give it a try. Unfortunately for it though, we had it in a tasting with Casa Noble Anejo and Chinaco's Anejo, and it just didn't hold up in our opinion. It was very pleasant but it's fruity taste didn't quite work for us in comparison with the other tequilas. Don't get us wrong, this is fantastic tequila and if you're at a bar with this as one of it's few choices you can't go wrong - but if you're building your personal collection we wouldn't start here.
