From TequilaGringo: It's not every day you come across a 100 proof tequila, so we were pretty excited to give this one a sip.  We were also a bit apprehensive though, because 100 proof is, well, it's 100 proof - and that can mean it's going to bring the pain.  But that's not what happened at all.  It's of course warmer than a typical tequila, that's to be expected - but this is no badge of honor-wince-and-get-it-over-with juice.  I'm sure many will try it because they're looking to get sauced, heck it'll probably be a party thing for most.  But in reality it's more than that. The nose has a bit of alcohol, but is largely agave.  The mouthfeel - silky and velvety. It's a particularly agave-focused blanco with traces of mint. And you won't believe it's 100 proof.  It's far too smooth for that.  We asked the distributor how they did the impossible, taming a 100 proof spirit.  The secret: it's allowed to mellow in a special container for 6 months, and since it's not wood, it can still be called a blanco.  A fun thing to bring to the party, in a very distinctive bottle - we recommend it.
