From Tequila Gringo:

We came in with high hopes after seeing this tequila win the SF Spirit award for Top Anejo, and we didn't find that this quite lived up to those hopes.  We picked up a lot of agave in the taste, perhaps a little honey and some earthiness.  It had a longish finish and what we thought was perhaps a "thicker" feel to it.  Perhaps the most unusual part of this tequila for us was the distinct numbing we felt in our mouth after.  Great tequila for $50, you really can't go wrong with it.
