Review:
Extra smooth, agave tasting blanco

From TequilaGringo: One of the great things about tequila is that it's perfectly acceptable to get way out there with bottle designs.  There are modern ones.  Ceramic ones.  Classic mexican ones.  And there's one that's the shape of Texas, Republic's Blanco.  What's inside is actually darn nice.  On the nose you get almost no heat, and lots of sweet agave.  Taste a bit and you'll find that the low heat and smoothness of the nose are right there on the pallate too.  This is an easy tequila to drink - a rarity amongst blanco which don't have time to mellow in the barrel.  The finish was just a slight bit off, but not in a bad way.  Mouthfeel best described as watery.  If you like extra smooth tequila, and you like agave, you're going to love this.  All of our tasters did. 8.5 stars.

From Republic: Republic Plata does not see the inside of a barrel, but is allowed to rest for 3-5 days after distillation to ensure ultimate smoothness.  This tequila mides perfectly into your favorite cocktail.
